No. We're an independent support service that helps you with applications and bookings. We are not CSCS, CITB or any card scheme operator and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them. You can apply or book directly yourself; our fee covers the support we provide.

Usually valid photo ID (passport or UK photocard driving licence), your National Insurance number, and evidence of any relevant qualifications such as the Level 1 Award or an NVQ/SVQ certificate.

Payment is taken securely online by card through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.

Yes. We support workers across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and book tests and courses at centres near you.

Choose the card that matches your qualifications, make sure you have passed the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment test in the last two years, then submit your application with your ID and qualification details. Our service checks your evidence and submits the application for you.

It depends on your qualifications and role. New labourers usually need the Green Labourer card (CITB HS&E test + Level 1 Award). Tradespeople with an NVQ/SVQ Level 2 get the Blue Skilled Worker card, Level 3 leads to a Gold card, and construction managers with an NVQ Level 5–7 need the Black Manager card.

Once your test pass and evidence are in order, applications are usually processed within a few working days and the card is then posted to you. Scheme processing times can vary, so apply before you need to be on site.

Yes. Most CSCS cards require a pass in the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment test taken within the two years before you apply. If you haven't taken it yet, we can book it for you.

Yes. You can apply to CSCS yourself. We are an independent support service: our fee covers checking your evidence, choosing the right card and handling the application for you.

It's a computer-based multiple-choice test run by CITB that checks your knowledge of health, safety and environmental awareness on construction sites. A pass is required for most CSCS cards.

Most workers applying for Green, Blue or Gold Advanced Craft cards take the Operatives test. Supervisors, managers and professionals normally take the Managers & Professionals test, and some trades have specialist tests. We'll confirm the right one when you book.

To apply for a CSCS card, your test pass must have been achieved within the previous two years.

You can rebook and sit the test again. Your result tells you which areas to revise before your next attempt.

No. The CITB HS&E test is a short computer-based test. The Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment is a separate qualification, needed for the Green Labourer card as well as the test.

Yes. To get the Green Labourer card you need the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (or an accepted equivalent) and a pass in the CITB Health, Safety & Environment Operatives test.

It is typically delivered in one day, followed by a short multiple-choice assessment.

The qualification itself doesn't expire, but the Green Labourer card it helps you get is valid for five years.

Most cards can be renewed once you've passed the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment test within the last two years and still meet the card's qualification requirements. We check this and submit the renewal for you.

Start the renewal a few weeks before the expiry date shown on your card, especially if you need to resit the CITB test, so you're not left without a valid card on site.

Yes. If your card was lost, stolen or damaged and is still in date, a replacement can be requested using your existing record. Tell us what happened and we'll handle it.
