Overview
Renewing your CSCS card
Most CSCS cards are valid for five years. To renew, you'll normally need a pass in the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment test within the last two years, and you must still meet the qualification requirements for your card.
If your last test pass is more than two years old, you'll need to resit it first, so start your renewal a few weeks before the expiry date on your card. If you've gained a higher qualification since your card was issued, you may be able to upgrade instead.
Replacing a lost, stolen or damaged card
If your card is still in date, a replacement can be requested using your existing record, and it normally keeps the same expiry date. Have your card or registration number ready if you know it. If not, we can find your record using your personal details.
Card already expired?
You can usually still get the same card, provided you meet its current requirements, which normally means a recent CITB test pass. Many sites won't let you work without a valid card, so it's worth acting quickly.

How do I renew my CSCS card?

When should I renew my CSCS card?
