Overview
What is the Blue Skilled Worker Card?
The Blue Skilled Worker card is for tradespeople who have achieved a recognised Level 2 qualification in their occupation. It tells employers and site managers that you are qualified in your trade and have up-to-date health and safety knowledge.
You'll need your NVQ/SVQ Level 2 certificate (or an accepted equivalent such as a completed apprenticeship) and a pass in the relevant CITB Health, Safety & Environment test from the last two years. The card is valid for five years.

Suited to skilled tradespeople such as bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers, painters and decorators, and groundworkers who have completed a Level 2 vocational qualification.
