These Terms & Conditions govern the use of https://ukconstructionsupport.com and the services provided by UKCS Consulting Services Limited, trading as UK Construction Support (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By using our website or placing a booking, you agree to these Terms.


1. Our Legal Status

UK Construction Support is an independent service provider offering application assistance, booking facilitation, and advisory services.

We are not:

• The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
• The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB)
• Pearson VUE
• Any training provider
• Any NVQ awarding organisation
• Any government authority

All tests, qualifications, and cards are issued solely by the relevant third-party organisation.

We act only as an intermediary.


2. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years old
• You are legally capable of entering a binding contract
• You have read and agreed to these Terms
• You request immediate commencement of service

If booking on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to act.


3. Distance Selling & Cooling-Off Rights

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day cancellation period for online purchases.

However:

By placing an order and ticking the consent box at checkout, you:

• Request immediate performance of the service
• Acknowledge that your cancellation right may end once processing begins
• Accept that once bookings or registrations are submitted to third parties, refunds may not be available

This complies with Regulation 36 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations.


4. Scope of Service

Our service includes:

• Reviewing eligibility
• Checking documentation
• Preparing and submitting applications
• Securing test or course bookings
• Liaising with third-party providers
• Providing administrative and customer support

We do not:

• Guarantee test passes
• Guarantee qualification completion
• Guarantee CSCS approval
• Influence third-party decisions

All decisions are made solely by the relevant issuing authority.


5. Bookings & Availability

All bookings are subject to availability with the relevant provider.

If your preferred date is unavailable, we may secure the nearest suitable alternative unless you instruct otherwise.

We are not liable for provider scheduling changes.


6. Payments

• All payments are processed in GBP (£).
• Full payment is required before processing.
• We use PCI-DSS compliant payment providers.
• We do not store card details.

Displayed fees include:

• Third-party charges
• Administrative service charges
• Payment processing costs


7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree that:

• All information provided is accurate
• You meet eligibility requirements
• You attend on time
• You bring correct ID and documentation
• You follow provider rules

We are not responsible for:

• Missed tests
• Late arrival
• Incorrect documents
• Rejection due to incorrect information provided by you


8. Cancellation & Refunds

Refunds are governed by our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Once:

• A test is booked
• A CSCS application is submitted
• A course is registered
• An NVQ enrolment is processed

Funds are transferred to third parties and are no longer refundable by us.

Administrative fees may apply where cancellation is requested before submission.


9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to:

• Severe weather
• Transport disruption
• Test centre closures
• Provider system outages
• Government regulatory changes


10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss
• We are not liable for loss of earnings
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for our service

Nothing in these Terms excludes statutory consumer rights.


11. Fraud & Misuse

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse service
• Cancel bookings
• Report fraudulent activity

If false documentation is provided, we may terminate services without refund.


12. Intellectual Property

All website content, text, branding, and materials are owned by UKCS Consulting Services Limited.

Content may not be copied or reproduced without permission.


13. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements.

Your information may be shared with third-party providers only for booking purposes.


14. Dispute Resolution

We aim to resolve complaints informally first.

If unresolved, disputes shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.


15. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms apply to future bookings only.
